Bhutanese papers are noted for their physical presence and high quality. Edgeworthia is a text weight paper with few fibers showing and subtle laid lines. It takes either oil or water-based ink well and is acid free.

Papermaking using Edgeworthia fibers have been a traditional craft in the Himalayan foothills for hundreds of years. Proof of the archival quality of this paper can be found in Buddhist woodblock prints and manuscript books made over 1200 years ago, which show no signs of deterioration.

This lovely 4-deckle edged handmade paper is suitable for use in many art forms, including printmaking of all kinds. It can also be used in a laser printer or copier. As with many handmade papers, weight, color, and size may vary from batch to batch.
